Bloggeroonie time!

So here I am, posting my very first blog. I feel so 21st century. I guess I'll introduce myself first. My name is Beth and I'm a 28 year old stay at home mother of 2 beautifully devilish boys. Jacob is 5 and Joey is 3. I'm married to a wonderfully patient and kind man named Joey, who's originally from Kentucky. We'll have been married for 6 years this coming October. We also have a pet ferret named Zoey. We all live together in northeastern Pennsylvania.

I'm super close with my family and don't go a day without talking to my momma. She and I are really close. I have a younger sister, who lives with my parents (mere miles from me) and a younger brother who lives with his fiance in New Jersey. We're all really tight.

I recently finished going to school to be a Phlebotomist and will be starting an externship at the end of September. I haven't worked since before I had Jacob (5 years ago!), so it's going to be an experience to finally get out there and have a career.

For fun, my family and I like to go hiking at some of the awesome state parks here in Pa. We're hoping to visit all of them while the kids are still young enough to want to go with us. We've been to most of them in NEPA this summer. I also dabble in photography. Nothing fancy, just a proud momma showcasing her kiddos and the fun stuff we like to do together.

This turned out to be shorter and duller than I'd originally planned, but what do you want from a newb. In a few posts I'm sure you'll be sick of reading my words. I can be a little long-winded and I tend to go off-topic a lot. Just part of my charm I suppose. ;)

Anyway, thanks for reading, and I hope you'll continue to keep up with me and all my random banterings. I really like to talk, and this is the perfect medium for it. :)
